Accessibility Statement

Last updated: November 3, 2026

GWINS Gear is committed to making our website and online store usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of the quality of our storefront, not a checklist.

Our Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological.

Steps We Take

Use semantic HTML, headings, labels, and ARIA attributes where appropriate.
Provide text alternatives for images that convey meaning.
Design color contrast between text and background to meet WCAG AA ratios.
Make interactive elements usable with a keyboard and visible when focused.
Avoid motion that could cause problems for people sensitive to animation; respect the user's prefers-reduced-motion setting.
Review new sections, product templates, and marketing pages against this standard before publishing.

Where We Are Still Working

We rely on third-party platforms (Shopify, Shopify apps, embedded social widgets, and print-on-demand catalogs) for parts of the Services. We cannot always control how those platforms render on every device and assistive technology. We review and remove features that create significant accessibility barriers.

Compatibility

Our site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and common screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, TalkBack, JAWS). It should also work on mobile devices in both portrait and landscape.

Found a Barrier? Tell Us.

If you encounter a page, image, interaction, or product listing that is hard to use with assistive technology or that blocks you from completing a purchase, please let us know. Include the URL, the device and browser you used, the assistive technology (if any), and a short description of what went wrong.
